It is entirely possible to change the administrator of a Neveo journal. This can be useful if someone else wants to take over the management of the subscription or centralize the organization of the family journal.
💡 Important: The administrator is the person who subscribes and pays for the journal. Only one administrator is allowed per journal.
Step 1: Cancellation by the current administrator
The process starts with the current administrator cancelling the existing subscription (after the annual period ends, if applicable).
To do so, the current administrator must:

Open the Neveo app.

Tap the relevant journal.

Tap the blue gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner to access Settings.

Tap “Subscription”.

Tap “Unsubscribe”.
🛑 This action stops billing, but the journal, photos, and members will remain active.
Step 2: New subscription by the new administrator
Once the subscription has been cancelled, the new administrator can subscribe to a new plan for the same journal and will take over billing responsibilities.
To do so, the new administrator must:

Open the Neveo app.

Tap the relevant journal.

Tap the blue gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner.

Go to the “Subscription” section.

Tap “Subscribe my family”.

Follow the steps to complete the subscription.
✅ From this moment, the new administrator becomes responsible for the payment of the subscription.
⚠️ Special case: Annual subscriptions
If the journal currently has an annual subscription, you must wait until the end of the subscription period before changing the administrator.
